OK enough of that self criticism and back to what is necessary. Allison was right, I should be posting my pieces from my series 1 YEAR, 10,000 PIECES, 1 ARTIST. I could almost even do a whole separate blog for it but I won't. It is best to keep it simple and here.
My best is what I will do to keep posting as many pieces as I can everyday. So much for joining the daily painters club since it appears I have enough work to have my own.

Piece #7400 is completed
Redundancy is something I can not stand. I thought I may have been a friend with it too long a couple of weeks back. But the strength of my will to challenge myself finally overcame the possible staleness. I am finally relieved and am able to breath deep again.
Only 2600 pieces to go while still remembering when I was at piece #2600, not to long ago.
It is interesting what is possible if the desire is there. The only difficulty with most is finding that desire. I feel free that I have found mine.

4999 pieces to go and 182 days
I did my 5001 piece last night and want to write more about it but I feel if I write too much at this time a migraine might come on since my head feels incredibly tender.
It is slightly surreal though looking at that number, 5001. It was only yesterday that the volume of the work I have done in the past six months, is finally sinking in.
Above is piece #mm4379.042209. On my Etsy site, where I am starting to sell pieces, I have them named according to there # in the succession of the pieces, and then the date.

#4111 Original Pieces
Yes it is real. 4111 original pieces of art work since November 8th, 2008.
For some people that don't know me very well, that seems an almost impossible amount to fathom. For those that do know me take that extra moment to look deeper into my eyes and know it is true.
I have been using so much visual language these past months, which makes it seem a little bit odd to write in black and white.
